Deep Sea Cushion 002, Multi Indigo

The Deep Sea cushion series emerged from our focus on zero waste and sustainable production in the studio. Each cushion is made from hand-dyed fabrics into monochromatic colors. Linens of various weights and hues are over-dyed in an indigo bath and then assembled and sewn in patches, reminiscent of Mondrian. The backside is plain indigo linen. The texture is soft and supple due to the many washings in this process. Pillow is one of a kind.
